Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi  

Upon arrival we will are welcomed and transferred to the hotel. Hong Ha Hotel 

Day 2: Hanoi - City tour (B, L)

9:00 AM - Hanoi is sometimes called the Paris of the Orient with its shaded boulevards, verdant parks and ochre buildings that retain an old worldly charm. This morning we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which has become a popular pilgrimage place for the Vietnamese, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on stilts and the One Pillar pagoda. Following this we will visit the Temple of Literature, built in 1076 and the first Vietnamese University. After PHO for lunch we will visit Ngoc Son temple and walk to visit the old quarter of Hanoi. Notes: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum opening time: Open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is maintenance by Russian expert.

Day 3: Hanoi – Van Long – Cuc Phuong National Park ( Ninh Binh )

8h00 Am: Pick up at your hotel. An hour's drive takes us to Doan Vi bridge  before we set off on a bikes for cycling through the breathtaking mountainous region of Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve – take 2 hours for Samban boat to visit the beautiful Wetland Nature and the have lunch before short cycling to reach Dinh Le temple. We then start cycling to Cuc Phuong National Park.

Day 4: Cuc Phuong National Park – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc
Following breakfast, We start a cycle from the gate of Cuc Phuong Park to recharge our energy for 12km cycling to the center of the park. We will start again around 9 am and make a couple of stops along the way to visit the Cave of Ancient Man. We continue another 30km cycle reach Dinh Le temple. We then start cycling to visit the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. (12km), just passing scenes of local village life and rice paddies. At midday enjoy a long lunch break near Hoa Luu. We continue with a 1-hour cycle to Tam Coc. O / N in Tam Coc Villiage .

Day 5 : Tam Coc – Keo pagoda – Red river delta-  Thai Binh
After breakfast and we cycling passing through the picturesque landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations with magnificent to visit Thai Vi temple and Bich Dong pagodas and Transfer by van to Tan De Bridge and turn right and start cycling along the banks of the East Delta of the Red River to the most beautiful Keo pagoda complex from the 11th century. After visiting we continue cycling to Thai Binh City for check in central hotel .

Day 6 : Thai Binh city to Thai Hong Villages
Breakfast and coffees and another dyke of the Tra Ly river for cycling 15 km  to Thai Hong Village ( Viet people ) - Cycling to Red River Delta(RRD) is located in the western coastal zone of the Gulf of Tonkin. The Red River is the second largest river in Vietnam and one of the five largest rivers on the East Asia coast. Its catchment covers parts of China and Vietnam and its water and sediment discharge greatly influence the Gulf of Tonkin in these countries. Afternoon arrival village for homestay. Dinner with Viet family..

Day 6 : Thai Hong Villages – Halong Bay
Breakfast and coffees and we will walking to visit the Red River Delta(RRD) – Explore the lives of the local people. participate in the activities of the local people. You can participate in weddings or festivals of the local people. Afternoon transfer to Ha Long city for check in Hotel in Tuan Chau island. Dinner by your own.

Day 7 : HALONG Cruise – LAN HA BAY ( Breakfast /Lunch/ Dinner)  

  • Breakfast and free for shopping or swmiming on beach
  • 11: 50 Check out and welcome at waiting room 26 Tuan Chau harbour in Halong Bay
  • 12:00 . You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Sapphire Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.
  • 13: 15 While our boat starts to cruise , enjoy the special lunch of fresh seafood and vietnamese food cooked by one of the best Chef in halong bay .
  • 15:00 After cruising for nearly 2 hours to explore the tranquil Bay , passing by thousands of islands and islets. Our boat will not bring you to the crowded and tiny beach for swimming . Our boat will stop in the middle of the Bay so that you can have chance to jump into water , take a backflip or somersault ..
  • 16:30 Keep cruising to admire the stunning beauty of the Bay from our Sundeck where you can capture great photos
  • 17:00 Attend the cooking class opened right on the Sundeck , our guide will show you how to prepare and make our vietnamese traditional dish that is spring roll
  • 17: 45 Join the Sunset party , enjoy fresh fruit , making friends with other members in the group , listening to soft and light music.
  • 19 :00 Enjoy the special Dinner with fusion food prepared by the excellent skills of decoration of our Chef .

Day 8: : HA LONG BAY - HANOI (Light Breakfast/Brunch)

  • 05:45 - The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.
  • 06:15 - Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
  • 06:45 - 8:00 - Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats (or kayak) which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
  • 09:15-9:30 - Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.
  • 09:45 Enjoy your brunch on the boat.
  • 11:00 you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
  • 11:45 Tour ends at TuanChau habour in Halong
  • Back to Hanoi around 15:30 . Check in Hong Ha hotel .

Day 9 :  Hanoi - Laocai ( Overnight on the train )  

Breakfast and all day free to explore Hanoi by your own ans 20h30pm driver take you from your hotel in Hanoi to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at 21:30 PM to get to Laocai Station around 7AM in the next day. . Sleep on the train.(4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin on request).

Day 10 :  Laocai -Sapa – Laochai – Tavan  ( 4 hours trekking, 14 km, 2 villages ) ( B , L , D)

Picked up at Laocai Station early in the morning by our bus. Arrive at Sapa around 8:00 AM; Breakfast starts at 10h30am to get to Laochai village. Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces. Visit the Hmong living in wooden and bamboo houses. Continue going to Tavan village to visit the Dzay minority. Stay the night in Tavan village at a Dzay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the home-stay.

Day 11 : Tavan -Ban Ho  (7 hours trekking, 18 km, 3 villages  ) ( B, L, D)

Breakfast with the local family and then get to a village located at the foot of the HoangLienSon range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After visiting  Giang ta chai village, get down to the river, cross it, and keep going to SuPan village for 2 minorities – The Hmong and the Red Dzao. . Get off the road to go downhill to BanHo village. Overnight at Ban Ho with a Tay family who have houses on stilts. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.

Day 12 : BanHo -Thanh Phu ( 7 hours trekking, 15 km, 3 villages  ) ( B, L, D)

Get up early in the morning for fresh air and the peaceful daily life of the people. Breakfast and leave the village for a hard day. Walk uphill to the smallest and almost untouched village of the Red Dzao (Namtoong). Go further to another village on the same side of the mountain range to see the XaPho ethnic group in Namen. Get down to the river and go up to MiSon to visit the XaPho again. Spend the night in Thanh Phu village at a Tay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner with the local family.

Day 13 : Thanh Phu –  Sapa ( 12 km with 4 hours trekking and 23 km by Car ) ( B, L )

Breakfast at Thanh Phu village. Walk back to SuPan village where to take a jeep back to Sapa. On the way back, visit the ancient stone circle (stones decorated with ancient carvings which are said to have described the life of the people lost in the mists of prehistory) Check in hotel. Lunch at SuPan and dinner your own  in Sapa. Sapa Green Hotel.

Day 13 : Sapa – Free day ( B )

Breakfast and relaxing day or your can buy ticket to take cable car to visit Fansipan mountain or good place for massage in Sapa. Sapa Green Hotel.

Day 14 : Sapa – Cycling Downhill to Luc Yen. 180Km ( B, L , D )

8:00 Pick up from your hotel in Sapa and ride from Sapa to Luc Yen is quite easy and enjoyable. We can start the day at 8Am, hit the 30 km road down to Lao Cai where we can see China from Vietnam, and then keep riding on the beautiful and quiet big road No 70. And then make a turn to small country road to Luc Yen – a nice village of the Tay people who live in stilted-houses between green palm trees.

Dinner and stay with the Tay- Home stay.

Biking Distance : 30 -50 km

Day 14 : Luc Yen – Vu Linh. 80Km ( B , L , D )

The road from Luc Yen to Vu Linh is quite flat. The beautiful ride today should be the most enjoyable, after saying good bye to the family, we will ride slowly on the small country road with the green mountain and rice paddy fields on two sides. We can stop somewhere to visit several nice villages of the Dzao and Tay on the way. Vu Linh – the village located on the bank of Thac Ba lake .
Dinner and stay with the Dzao people – Home stay.

Biking Distance : 30-50 km

Day 15  : Vu Linh – Hanoi ( B , L )

We will do the best to avoid the main busy road for as long as possible . we will ride longer to get to road No2B which there is less traffics on. Then hit the road down to Red River Delta. A mixture of both challenging track and glorious sealed road all the way back to Hanoi.
Be at Hanoi before rush hours and end the best cycling tour in north Vietnam safely!
